I am a story teller at heart. I have woven little bits of myself in each book I have written. Since I was a girl I have lived, breathed and worshiped the equine. Horses have been my life they have also been my death. In 1979 I was killed in a ridding accident. Between life and death in those few moments before I returned I had a Near Death Experience. Confused, frustrated and some what embarrassed I put a lid on my experience trying to suppress what had happened to me. Like any pot my thoughts, emotions and paranormal experiences began to boil over .One night a little over twenty years ago I dreamt my first book. This wonderful combination of Near Death Experience, creativity and burning curiosity into the paranormal collided forming me into an author. No, I am not another Hemingway but if you planted my novels in a barren desert they would bloom.

I have lived in New York City, Northern Virginia, Ormond Beach Florida, Huntsville Alabama and Lexington Kentucky. The places I have lived provided the settings and locations in my novels. The characters I have created are half imagination and half observation of human nature. I think like my characters, speak like them and part of me becomes the character when I write. I have taken my time carefully laying down the tracks my characters travel through-out my book series.

Right now I am living on a small horse farm on the edge of Lexington Kentucky. Yes I have horses or I should say they have me. My deep compassion for the horse led me to write my second novel Throw Away Horses. It also made me put my money where my mouth was and adopt a rescue horse scheduled for death. Her nick name is my little slaughter house special. Today this gentle, throw away horse spends her time in my fields grazing and power napping with my sweet retired gelding.

Presently I am busy working on my fourth and last novel in my paranormal book series. Taking a departure from my novels I producing one of my Zombie screen plays.I am having a blast making my Zombie movie come to life.. The best way to describe myself is if I was the last soul on earth and no one would ever read my books I would still write them.

I have written a series of books, five separate connecting stories that comprise three full novels spanning three decades. They are packed with the paranormal, ghosts, Near Death Experience, psychic ability, reincarnation and more. In all my books, there are some very true psychic experiences that I have witnessed! Like an onion, my books have many layers. First, my characters are human with good traits and bad ones. From the beginning of each novel to the last page there are well thought out plot lines with mystery, action, and romance swirling in and out of my books along with an unusual love triangle. My ghost chronicles are not the usual one- dimensional stick people in a horror novel meaning there are some characters over thirty that will hold your interest. There isn’t a scantily clad co-ed being chased by an in-bed hillbilly with a chain saw or the unrealistic furniture flying across the room or any blood running down the walls. A good story doesn’t need grotesque gore or step by step details of procreation. I think readers are smarter than that and deserve a well crafted original paranormal novel that will keep them on the edge of their seat.

In my first novel The Near Death Connection the title is true to its word. By the end of the book the reader will feel that they too have had a near death experience.

My second novel in the series is called Throw Away Horses. Deserted, discarded, stolen and forgotten horses loaded up together with one thing in common their final destination. The slaughter house motto is from the stable to the table in just six days. Between fact and fiction one glimpse inside a slaughter house and the horses cried out for me to tell their stories.

Part two of my second novel is called The Last House On Covington Lane it begins at a Kentucky Derby party at the historic Five Chimneys Horse Farm. Some ghosts don’t fade away they merely change locations and wait for you to move there.

My third novel, The Reincarnation Of Tess Hamilton takes a different turn. There is only one problem when you have had a past life that ended tragically it’s stopping yourself from repeating it.

There is one more book called The Near Death Conclusion in the works that will complete the ghost series up to the present day. Without revealing too much, I have put together previews of my three novels to whet your appetite. I am not going to come right out and tell anyone living or dead what’s real paranormal or what is fiction, in any of my books. I don’t kiss and tell. Instead, I want you to read my books- that’s when I get an agent and get them published mind you!
